Early spring blossom.

Azalea

I have been watching this azalea bush closely for the last several days and this morning my patience was rewarded. This particular Azalea has a very subtle blue tint to the petals that gives them a much deeper violet. I had some difficulty translating that hue to match the actual blossom. To compensate I adjusted the white balance function of the camera to favor the blue-violet range. On my camera that equates to B/4-M/5 in Canon speak. This post is the result, thanks for stopping by... Bob
