The topic for this Traditional Art contest is: Rise of the workers. Create human form thats displays the working class(i have left this very wide open). It can be from construction worker, clerk, ditchdigger, taxi driver, street sweeper..oh i can go on and on, the focus is more on the working class(excecutives and management not included)in other words the ones who really brake thier backs or works the oddball hours to earn that dollar the hard way. Im amazed how many americans really dont understand the holiday "labor day". Maybe some of us traditional artist will capture that and teach other what real work is. artwork created from puter with no help of photo will be accepted. photo of sculptures that was created for this topic will be accept also...no mix media or photos allowed
Create a Traditional Artwork that somehow incorporates the topic. The artwork should clearly be about the topic. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
This is for Traditional Artwork (Pen & ink, pencil, watercolors, charcoal, etc.) only. No photography, digital art or any form of artwork that uses a photograph. see rules mentioned
The First Prize Winner will win the complete "Prize Pool"
which is based on the number of entries. The Prize Pool is currently 16.00 member dollars. There are 17 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 50.00 member dollars.
In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
This contest is open to all members. Past contest winners can join the contest.
A voting booth will be created shortly after the deadline is reached. At that time all participants will be contacted so they can vote.
