An Obvious Difference
The topic for this photography contest is: AN OBVIOUS DIFFERENCE
Submit a photograph that somehow incorporates the topic. The photograph should clearly be about the topic. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
This is a photography contest. Edits of photography using software is permitted BUT very little should only be utilized. NOTHING MAJOR
What needs to be in your photograph is something that is currently side by side yet is contradicting towards each other. It should not be placed side by side by you. Yes it could have been placed side by side by someone but many years ago but cannot be removed with ease TODAY. You are basically looking for something that is a contrast. The emphasis is on the differences between the two subjects.
Normally in Photography Contrast is the difference in luminance or color that makes an object (or its representation in an image or display) distinguishable. But for this particular contest the contrast is the difference between two objects, people or places. An example of contrast is thunder storms on one end of an island and clear, blue skies on the other end.
Have fun in finding something that fits this contest then take a photograph of it and enter this contest. It will be exciting to see what we can all come up with.
