The topic for this traditional photo contest is: RODENT READY
This photo contest is all about RODENTS.
RODENT is defined as a small mammal that has a pair of incisor teeth with a chisel-shaped edge that are constantly growing and that are used for gnawing; however, they have no canines or anterior premolars. There is a gap between the incisors and the cheek teeth in most species. This allows them to suck in their cheeks or lips to shield their mouth and throat from wood shavings and other inedible material, discarding this waste from the sides of their mouth.
Just in case you cannot remember if a certain animal is a RODENT or not, and to save you some time so you do not have to "GOOGLE" it, I am going to provide you with a PARTIAL LIST of RODENTS. Please feel free to select one of the following to take a picture of. It is not necessary to do so. Just a suggestion. Otherwise PLEASE feel free to browse the web and find another RODENT that is not listed here that you can take a picture of instead.

When submitting your photo, please specify name (not Charlie or Ingrid) but the actual TYPE of RODENT it is (HAMSTER or PORCUPINE). Verification will be made #1 if photo is indeed a RODENT and #2 if photo matches the type of RODENT you claim to have taken a picture of.
This is a traditional photography contest; therefore, NO edits of your photo using software is allowed. Share what you shot without any edits. No digital art or traditional artwork should be submitted either.
Submit a photograph that somehow incorporates the topic. The photograph should clearly be about the topic. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
