The Process
THE PROCESS is about you taking photos of an entire process of something and making a collage of those photos that you took.
Your collage should consist of no less than three photos but no more than seven. Your photos must be in the correct order to match the steps of the process taken. Your title must be of the process you are going to be describing in your collage.
The process could be of anything...steps at making/baking a pie (which would include a picture perhaps of the items in your mixing bowl that you are mixing together, placing dough in the pie dish, placing pie dish in the oven, and of course the finished product. If you wanted to include a photo of placing a slice on your plate and then another of eating it, that would be totally up to you...Is placing a slice on a plate part of the makings of a pie? Is eating it part of making a pie? Some say yes. Some say no. It is up to you how you want to manage your collage.
Another example is pumping gasoline. Your collage could consist of a picture of the fuel gauge on empty, the opening of your gas cap, at the pump paying for it with your debit/credit card, filling car with the gas, and then another picture of the fuel gauge at quarter filled or full. Your collage would incorporate the entire process of Pumping Gasoline. This is a general photography contest is
Submit a photograph that somehow incorporates the topic. Your collage of photographs should clearly be about the topic. Edits of photos are permitted. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
No digital art or traditional artwork should be submitted.
Deadline: Contest is closed. Deadline was Saturday, August 29, 2015.
