The topic for this traditional photo contest is PREPOSITION.
What this contest entails is that you will submit a photo of something that will be taken by you doing what the blank indicates. You will understand more the further you read.
The following IS a prepositional phrase:
I FLEW ______________ THE CLOUD
In the blank you can place the words OVER, UNDER, THROUGH, IN, UP, DOWN, AROUND and so forth. The word that is missing from the sentence is a preposition. Therefore, you will be submitting a photo you took OVER something or THROUGH something or AROUND something. Make sure you use the correct preposition in your title and exactly what you took in your descriptive sentence.
I hope I have not confused you even further. AND no, you do not need to take a picture of a cloud. I merely was sharing with you an entire Prepositional phrase. And the blank....whatever fits in that blank is the preposition. AND JUST IN CASE school was too many years ago....a preposition is a word or group of words that is used with a noun or pronoun that shows direction or location or time or to introduce an object.
For example you want to use IN...I flew IN the cloud. IN fits. You submit a photo you took while you were IN the shower. Or UP. I flew UP the cloud. UP fits. You submit a photo while you were climbing UP Mount Everest.
This is a traditional photography contest. No edits of your photo using software. Only whatever is within your camera you can select prior to snapping your photo is allowed. Share what you shot without any edits.
Submit a photograph that somehow incorporates the topic. The photograph should clearly be about the topic. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
