Seven Layer Composite - Mixed Media Photography
This contest is for those who are interested in learning how to do layers. I have created a blog to help a few friends learn some Photoshop basic skills using selections and layers. It is aptly named FAR Tutorials:). By layers I mean 7 different images, not 7 layer dip, lol.
The challenge is to create an image using 7 layers. Not less than, nor more than, only 7 layers. The end results must appear to be completely natural. 7 layers really isn't that difficult or that many and you will be surprised when you get into the production. I will ask the voters to vote on the image that appears the most natural, not necessarily the image they like the best.
In your description, you need to outline what makes up the 7 layers.
It could look like this as an example:
1. Background Image
2. Bird in flight
3. Bird in flight
4. Flower
5. Leaves for flower
6. Bush
7. Overlay for texture
I hope a lot of members will join in on this. It will be fun to see what everyone comes up with as well as a learning experience.
