What's in a room?
The topic for this general photography contest is: What's in a Room, meaning you will create a collage of pictures filled with different items found within different rooms within your home. Each starred (*) line will be considered one picture to be included in your collage. Some starred (*) lines will have multiple rooms. However, if you do not have any of these rooms in your home, do not worry about it. Move on to the next starred (*) line. If you have more than one of the rooms mentioned on a particular starred (*) line, choose only one of the rooms.
Take a picture of an item located in
*your kitchen
*your den, office, spare room, man cave, or study
*your parlor, drawing room, or cloak room
*your boudoir, dressing room, powder room, fitting
room, or sitting room
*your foyer, mud room, vestibule, or entryway
*your bathroom (master or other)
*your regular or formal dining room, or breakfast nook
*your regular or formal living room or great room
*your family room, lounge, Billiard room, great room,
Games/Recreation room, or theater
*your library, sewing room, exercise room, music room,
crafts room, TV room, or computer alcove
*your utility room or laundry room
*your attic, storage room, cellar (without windows), or
basement (with windows)
*your conservatory, greenhouse, solarium, sun room,
sun parlor, screened in porch, or glass enclosed
room
*your nursery, child's room, guest room, or extra
bedroom
*your walk in closet or walk in pantry
*your hallway, stairwell, staircase, upstairs landing,
*your outside porch or deck, balcony, veranda, gallery,
loft, stoop, terrace or breezeway
*your garage, car deck, shed, or workshop
*your pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, cabana, or
changing room
Submit a collage of photographs that somehow incorporates the topic. The collage should clearly be about the topic. Edits of photos are permitted. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
No digital art or traditional artwork should be submitted.
