What is the Point?
The topic for this general photography contest is: WHAT IS THE POINT?
Submit a photograph that shows something sharp or pointy or jagged or prickly or spiky or edged knife or edged needle or spiny or splintery etc. It can be of anything, as long as if you are not careful with it, it could in some fashion hurt you...cut, prick you. The photograph should clearly be about the topic. Edits of photos are permitted. Remember the superstition about giving a penny back to the person who has gifted you something sharp.....a steak knife set, a brooch....because you do not want something bad to happen and cut your friendship apart. Therefore, the penny is actually payment for the item and you did not receive a sharp-edged gift that could sever your relationship. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
