Triptych (3 Similar yet Different)
NOTE: THIS CONTEST HAS BEEN MODIFIED AND DEADLINE EXTENDED...
The topic for this general photography contest is: TRIPTYCH (3 Similar yet Different). CHANGES TO THIS CONTEST ARE: Select an item of interest...perhaps MONEY. You are going to submit three separate photos of money. Perhaps a picture will be over 3 different types....perhaps from three different countries or perhaps three amounts (a dime, a nickle, a quarter). Or maybe you choose to take a picture of an animal, you will submit three different pictures of three different animals and place them in a triptych that will be pleasing to the eye. If you decide on mountains, maybe a mountain from three different states....be a little creative in your selection of the three items. If you have three pets, take a picture of each separately and create a triptych and hit the submit button.
[THE FOLLOWING WILL NO LONGER HOLD TRUE AS PART OF THIS CONTEST: One photo will be an antique of that item. Antique means it has to be at least 100 years old. Except when it concerns automobiles. One photo will be a Vintage of that item. Vintage means at least 20 years old (1980s). One photo will be current. Current for this contest will mean anytime within the last 12 months.]
Hopefully this will encourage some of you to enter this contest. If so, I thank you in advance. Once you have your three photos, submit those three photographs in a pleasing manner. The three photographs should clearly be about the topic. Edits of photos are permitted, but do not go crazy with the edits. A little goes a long way. Creative approaches are welcomed. Be clever.....perhaps you choose people. To be clever, you could take a photo of a baby, of a teenager and of an elderly person. All up to you and of course the voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
No digital art or traditional artwork should be submitted.
