VOWEL pentaptych (A E I O U)
The topic for this general photography contest is: VOWELS.
You are going to submit a pentaptych (meaning five) photos...one for each vowel (A, E, I, O, U); or if you prefer a hexaptych (meaning six) photos....if you want to include "the sometimes Y". It is up to you ... either submit five photos or six photos.

Each photo must contain a picture that begins with a vowel. For example: A = artichoke; E = escalator; I = iguana; O = ostrich; U - uniform; (and the sometimes Y = Yarn). [ And I do say SOMETIMES Y simply because writing is not the same thing as speech. The letter Y can stand for either of these types of sounds. In "yes," Y is representing a consonant, and in "gym" it is representing a vowel.]
NOTE: Your collage should either contain photos of all nouns (things in this case; no person or place) or all verbs (describing an action). Action examples...E = eat (photo of a person eating)....Y = yawn (photo of a dog yawning).
Submit a five or six photograph collage of "beginning with a vowel" photos. The photographs should clearly be about the topic. Edits of photos are permitted. No Layers or extreme editing. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
In your Artist's notes include the vowel letters and let us (the viewer) know what each one of your photos is.
No digital art or traditional artwork should be submitted.
