Rule of Odds in Photography
The topic for this general photography contest is: Rule of Odd Numbers.
Submit a photograph that somehow incorporates the topic. The photograph should clearly be about the topic. Edits of photos are permitted. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
No digital art or traditional artwork should be submitted.
"Rule of odds" The rule of odds states that images are more visually appealing when there is an odd number of subjects.
For example, if you are going to place more than one person or object in a photograph, don't use 2 or 4, use 3 or 5 or 7, etc..
Studies have proven that the human brain has trouble looking at an image with an even number of items.. seems your brain isn't sure what you want them to see. With and odd number the brain will focus you on the center of the "odd numbers".
