It is Time to Rhyme
The topic for this Mixed Media Photography and/or regular photography contest is: IT IS TIME TO RHYME.
Let me explain.....
.
First, pick a word....usually a noun...something you could take a photo of ( no emotion type words like sad and a picture of a person crying)....Example HAT.
Second, select a word that rhymes with your first word...BAT
Third, select another word that rhymes with the first and second word...FLAT.
Fourth, select another word that rhymes with the first, second and third....CAT.
Fifth, select a word that rhymes with HAT, BAT, FLAT, CAT.....MAT.
Next you will take photos of each one of these items...a cowboy hat, a baseball bat, a flat tire on a car, your neighbors pet cat, and the mat in the bath tub or the one in your car or at your front door....
Once you have all of your photos, it is time for your to create a collage.
YOUR COLLAGE CANNOT have less than three photos and no more than seven.
It is up to your how creative you want to be....picking unusual words that rhyme; coming up with just the absolute craziest of collages.
NOTE If you speak another language, please feel free to select items that rhyme in your native tongue. Be ready to translate and share in your Artist's notes.
Please include in your author's notes the words you chose and perhaps share with us why you chose those.....was it perhaps the easiest of words and best of all you own each item; therefore no hunting for the items you selected.
MOST OF ALL for this contest one of the biggest criteria is for YOU TO HAVE FUN.....
The final work of art should be about the topic provided. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
