The "3" Stages of _________
The topic for this general photography contest is: The "3" Stages of ________ (YOU get to fill in the blank)
Submit a total of 3 photographs depicting the 3 stages of something. For example.... the three stages of A TIMEPIECE....first photo could be of a musical chime clock (showing a time when you are young and do not have to watch the time), the second photo could be of an ALARM CLOCK (showing when you are at the prime of your life busy...busy....busy working and must get there on time), and the third could be of a GRANDFATHER CLOCK (depicting retirement...old age...etc).
OR another example is of a HIGH CHAIR (depicting young age), then a BAR STOOL (depicting young 21+ going out and having fun, and then a ROCKING CHAIR (depicting once again old age).
AND one last example could be of a TREE (where wood comes from) and a PIECE OF LUMBER (that comes from the tree) and a WOODEN CABINET (that is made from the piece of lumber).
It is up to you just how creative you want to get. But in your Artist's notes, you must tell us about each photo and how the three fit together to become three stages of "something".
Once you come up with your idea, go and take photos of the three items and then create a collage of sorts....a triptych perhaps showcasing YOUR THREE STAGES of ?????
All three photographs should clearly be about the topic. Edits of photos are permitted. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
No digital art or traditional artwork should be submitted.
