Scarecrows
The topic for this general photography contest is: SCARECROWS. A scarecrow is a decoy or mannequin, often in the shape of a human. Humanoid scarecrows are usually dressed in old clothes and placed in open fields to discourage birds such as crows or sparrows from disturbing and feeding on recently cast seed and growing crops. They are used across the world and are a notable symbol of farms and the countryside in popular culture. They are very useful for farmers. (Thank you, Uncle Google.) This contest is not being monitored by the KGB, there will be no disqualifications at all. No composite work permitted.
Submit a photograph that somehow incorporates the topic. The photograph should clearly be about the topic. Edits of photos are permitted. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
