Skill challenge B/W
The topic for this general photography contest is: Skill challenge B/W
Submit a photograph that somehow incorporates the topic. The photograph should clearly be about the topic. Edits of photos are permitted. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
For this challenge, submit a collage (side by side) of two images. The first is a color photo of your choosing, the second is a desaturated (grayscale/monotone) version of the same image that you feel is more effective. In your artist notes state why the b/w version is an improvement over the color photo. (and yes I would consider sepia to qualify for monotone).
No digital art or traditional artwork should be submitted.
