March 2018 Collage Challenge
The topic for this Mixed Media Photography contest is: MARCH 2018 COLLAGE CHALLENGE.
Please note the only reason why this is considered mixed media is because your entry will contain a collage.
This is our third monthly collage challenge. Your collage must be completed during the month of March. However NOT all photos must be taken during March. AND yes, you may include one or two previously utilized photos.
For March you will be utilizing the letters E or F. Your collage will contain not less than 3 and not more than 8 photos. You will select either an E or an F and take photos of things beginning with the letter you have chosen. If you select the letter F, for example, you may take photos of many things beginning with the letter F [frog, faucet, fan, French fry] or many pictures of one thing beginning with the letter F [fence]. If you select one item for example, you will need to take pictures of different fences not different pictures of one fence but one picture of different fences [I noticed in some of last months submissions there were several photos of one item, but the same one item...that does not follow this contest's rules... sorry!!!]. Also, the rules state one item per photo. Again in last months entries I noticed photo[s] having more than one of the items in it... that also does not follow the contest's criteria. Your title can be anything but must include the letter you chose. Also, somewhere within your submission, please indicate the date you completed your collage and if you did choose fence, include what fence it is or where you took it... [your moms fence, neighbors fence, and the fence around the park]...if you decide to take pictures of many items, be sure to let us know in your artist notes what those items are. You can create your collage Any Which Way your little heart desires. It's up to you for the layout to design to the background colors..... that is all up to you and of course please submit your entry prior to the deadline in order to be considered a part of this contest.
Your photos can be un edited or they can be a true mixed media... all up to you.... just have fun and get your collage juices flowing
Final result Submit a collage containing at least 3 but no more 8 photos.
Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
