June 2018 Collage Challenge
The topic for this contest is JUNE 2018 COLLAGE CHALLENGE.
Please note the only reason why this contest has anything to do with Mixed Media is because your entry will contain a collage.
This is our sixth monthly collage challenge. Your collage must be completed during the month of June. However, NOT all photos must be taken during June, and yes, you may include one or two previously utilized photos.
For June you will be utilizing the letter L or M. Your collage will contain not less than 3 and not more than 8 photos. You will select either an L or an M and take photos of things beginning with the letter you have chosen. If you select the letter L, for example, you may take photos of many different things beginning with the letter L (life jacket, leopard, linguine) or many pictures of one thing beginning with the letter L (lampshade). If you select one item., lampshade for example, you will need to take pictures of different lampshades....not different pictures of one lampshade but one picture of many different lampshades.
Your title can be anything but must include the Letter you chose. Also, somewhere within your submission, please indicate the date you completed your collage. And if you did for example choose lampshade, include a little something about each lampshade (my favorite lampshade at my aunt Mildreds') or (located in my room)...if you decide to take pictures of many items, be sure to let us know in your artist's notes what those items are.
You can create your collage any which way your little heart desires. It is totally up to you from the layout to the design to the background colors... that is all up to you and of course please submit your entry by the deadline in order for it to be considered a part of this contest. The photos can be unedited or they can be a true mixed media....all up to you....JUST HAVE FUN and get your COLLAGE JUICES flowing.
The final result is to submit a collage containing at least 3 but no more than 8 photos. Creative approaches are welcomed but contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for the winner.
