After an afternoon of wine tasting we stopped at the last one for the day and settled down to drink a very nice red with our antipasta platter. Under the vine covered pergola overlooking the local farm dam there was suddenly an influx of these birds landing on the skeleton of a tree. I think there was at least 30-40 that crowded on the bare branches over the water. Reluctantly at this point in time I got the camera out and wandered over. Maybe the quality of photo is not quite spot on but remember we have been wine tasting all arvo.... Focal Length 300mm ISO180 F11.0 1/500s
