We have had a very very cold winter here in Adelaide but yesterday decided to brave the weather and take a walk to the botanical gardens. The nulumbo pond in summer has the most beautiful lotus blossoms and covered with green leaves and pink lotus flowers. Winter however the leaves, seed pods and blooms have died down leaving a marshy pond for the ducks to sit and rest. Focal Length 48mm ISO400 f8.0 1/50s
