No it isn't a pet dog, a dingo in Wildlife Park

A chapter in the book Animals - no zoo animals

Behind the fence was a dingo

Yesterday being a public holiday the family visited Gorge Wildlife Park which is a privately run park in the Adelaide Hills. Set on 14 acres the park has numerous Australian native animals and some more exotic animals from around the world. Unlike the zoo a lot of these were behind wire mesh fences making it difficult to get photographs. This dingo however had a fence with large enough holes for me to poke the lens through and take a couple. It is actually the first time I have seen a dingo, after 55 years living in this country, having migrated with my parents from the UK as a very young child.
