The first Saturday in November Adelaide holds a Christmas Pageant to welcome Father Christmas to the Magic Cave where he stays and takes the wishes of children until Christmas Eve. This year was the 80th year and it has developed into a wonderful tradition with over 60 floats and 140 performing artists including bands, clowns and dancers parading along the 2km route. Around 150,000 line the streets of the route so to try and get a clear view for photography is a challenge in itself. This was one of the few where someone didn't suddenly stand or jump up just as I was about to take the shot. Merry Christmas to everyone and may 2013 bring happiness and great photography to you all.
