The Battle of Polygon Wood cost 5,770 Australian casualties. Anzac Day on the 25th April is a time to reflect on our fallen soldiers during World War I and the conflicts and wars since.

The Cemetary is surrounded by green and gold plants as a tribute to the Australian soldiers. It is a cemetary for the Australian 5th Division who lost their lives in the Battle of Polygon Woods.

This photo was taken with point and shoot and is posted in memory of those fallen and not so much for the technical attributes.
