Black Saturday, February 7th 2009 will always be remembered by not only the communities that suffered loss of life (173 people), homes (over 2000) stock and pasture but by all those involved in the trauma and despair after the bushfires. People from all over the country showed compassion and gave generously to try and help communities rebuild their lives. This collage shows in more detail some of the tiles in the mural posted previously. It is nearly the 5th anniversary of this horrific day and we are currently experiencing temperatures 40C plus (113F) and pray that the bushfire prone areas stay safe.
