Eggs in the nest

We were staying down at a beach house south of Adelaide and right outside the sliding door was the wagtail nest. Unfortunately every time we opened the door the birds flew off the nest and wouldn't return until we had gone back inside or sat down on the chairs below. I decided to take advantage of their absence to check out how many eggs were in the nest. Our friend assured us that the birds hatched successfully later in the month and the little ones all survived despite our interruptions.
