The Kinchega Woolshed was constructed of corrugated iron and River Red Gum in 1875 a very important part of Australias pastoral heritage. In 97 years of operation, six million sheep were sheared in this majestic building which is now surrounded by natural saltbush and low growing gums. It is now part of the Kinchega National Park incorporating the Medindee Lakes which when we visted were dry and dusty.
