Lonely Chilean Flamingo

The chilean flamingo arrived in Adelaide Zoo in 1948 and up until last year had another flamingo Greater to share its enclosure with, unfortunately Greater passed away at the ripe old age of 83 leaving this one alone. They have placed a mirror in the enclosure to try and assist and as there is an embargo on importing flamingoes into Australia it is unknown whether they will be able to get a companion any time soon.
