Each day the Red Coat soldiers march to the drummer through the old mining town of Sovereign Hill and gather the tourists around them to demonstrate the firing of the muskets (carbines). The Lieutenant tells the audience to block their ears, which unfortunately as I was trying to get the action photo I only blocked one. The soldiers fire one shot at a time and by the end my uncovered ear was pounding and continued to do so for quite a while. But I got my photo :)
