On a seven week road trip and for nearly 2500 km we didn't have any internet or phone connection - apparently my provider doesn't know Australia has an outback and only covers the coastal areas. Anyway we were on a dirt road for around 170km and saw these Brolga on the side of the road. I had not seen them before and luckily we could pull over and try to get some photos before they ran off. Exciting to see something new to me.
