Hasties Swamp is a national park in Queensland, Australia, 1,371 km northwest of Brisbane. The swamp is located several kilometers south of the town of Atherton in Far North Queensland. The main feature of the park is a seasonal wetland. We were fortunate that it was well occupied by the Magpie Geese and Whistling Ducks plus egrets and herons. The magpie geese were argumentative and took off flying across the wetland. The Magpie Geese are resident in northern Australian and New Guniea.
