Artist Notes
She was once a mermaid and now she is missing whatever she had before ? beautiful life in the water is represented by KOI. Don?t all we have this type of feeling? We (Japanese) regard the nishikigoi to be especially beautiful. The name also implies something honorable and spiritual.
