In this little store in Maryland Harriet Tubman stopped the overseer from catching a runaway. For her trouble he pegged her in the head with a piece of iron. She had siezures the rest of her life.

Max Eac
Max Eac is an educator who spends vastly more of his "free time" on his drawings and photography than is probably best for normal folk. He is married, has two children, and two dogs. While most guys collect wrenches, screwdrivers, and powertools Max collects pens, papers and cool bits and pieces for making into decoupages.
At any given moment there are six to twenty pieces of work going on in various mediums and stages of completion in his world. Max finds finishing a piece to be as triumphant a moment as payday, or 1/4 of a Christmas. He always carries pieces with him,and always has pieces waiting in his messy studio.
Max is most at home when making cartoons, but loves pen and ink. He is especially fascinated with the figure, and its movement through space as well as portraits.
