Artist Notes
I worked 15 hours yesterday on lake survey, dragging boats through brush, down hills to lakes that have not trails to them yet (Trailblazer for sure). When I dragged my weary bones back to my tent and campsite last evening, this is what greeted me. A great end to a long hard day.

This morning I broke camp and came come to daughter and computer so I thought I'd post it. At the lake, I woke up to wolves howling and coyotes trying to outdo them. Morning coffee was with two dueling song sparrows, one of which actually landed on my picnic table. The loons did a fine job of taking over after the coyotes finished their morning challenge and the red-necked grebes put on their auditory show. Best coffee I had this year.

Now it's back to stuffing boxes, sorting and continuing for the great moving day.

Groan.

I'd rather go back to the lake and watch another sunrise and sunset.

But hey I get to go gillnetting twice next week so....

trailblazer101
Trailblazer101 (better known in the electronic world as "Trails") is a published author in outdoor books (heavily illustrated fly fishing instructionals) and fictional novels. His first fictional creation was "To Catch a Trone" published as a print novel in 2009 and first developed on Fanstory where remnants remain. Trailblazer101 was the #2 novelist on Fanstory in 2006.
Two more novels, still available on Fanstory, will follow as e-books. Some of the illustrations therein are being shared on FanArtReview.

While writing pays the bills, photography and digital art remains his passion. Shortly after obtaining his first SLR in the 1960s he dreamed of a day when photos could be merged with art. That day has finally arrived. Being able to merge photography with 3D embellishment was viewed as a major bonus.

His photos have been published in several national Canadian magazines.
