Reminiscing about my first horse

LowRider took a break at this scene to take some shots and reminisce about her first horse she named Jet because he was a black and white paint with a white marking in the shape of a jet on his black rump. Her Dad won Jet on a punch board game at his job for $1.00. Her father was very afraid for her to have a horse because he was almost killed by his horse in his late teens and LowRider was only six years old at the time. LowRider convinced her Dad that she could handle the horse because she has a connection with animals. Her Dad, knowing this to be true, Jet was delivered with no bridal or saddle, only a harness on his head. She went to the barn, gathered some bailing twine and made rains for the harness, got a bucket to stand on, mounted Jet, and rode off experiencing a freedom she had never know. She soon learned to mount Jet without the bucket, never wanting a bridal or saddle because only sissy's rode with all that garb. The fact that her Grandfather was Cherokee Indian and she was his granddaughter, the only way for her was bareback riding. She was often seen riding on dangerous terrain and often talked about in the community as one little invincible hellion. Can't say she has changed much, just a bit droopy in a few places.
