I walked up to this home, leaving my Jeep outside of the property, 'shotshy' I guess, heard raised voices inside, decided to knock on the door window anyway. A hefty lady in her late 60's opened the door and said ruffly, "If ya don't know anything about lectricity, I ain't listening!". Me, "I'll be happy to help if I can". Further;

Lady, "Help? You?"
Me, "I sure hope I can."
Lady, "Name's Silky, you?"
Me, "Debbie, but I answer to most anything anymore."
Bottom line, they just had the electricity rewired adding GFI outlets,(outlets that will trip if overloaded and can be reset, fire prevention thing). The GFI in the kitchen had gone out and Silky was still trying to fix breakfast at 11 AM but no power in that area. Her hubby, Butch, had an extra GFI, I replaced it for them. Silky made us a super tasty 'brunch' of hashbrowns, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy and tomatoes! They gave me free roam of the property, as I was saying my 'see ya agains', Silky thanked me for shutting 'Bastard Butch' up while giving me a very tight hug, and Butch hugged me, swang me around, and said, "This has been the greatest day for us in a very long time!"

Something so simple brought such enormous pleasure to me, not to mention the massively full belly!!
