Gary began his art at a very young age, and has always enjoyed the many challenges and rewards art provides. He loves to share his art with all, and to view the art of others. His artwork is currently displayed in both private and public galleries and as his portfolio shows, he enjoys using both wet and dry media. Gary prefers realism, but currently is experimenting with impressionistic art, to see how that feels and what that may bring to his art. Gary prefers portraits, landscape and animal drawings or paintings. To continually improve his art technique and skills, outside of the experiential knowledge we all get from 'doing the work' he takes ongoing art technique and color study instruction classes from professional art instructors. Gary enjoys the peer reviews he receives here on Fanartreview and appreciates the opportunity to view and critique the artwork of others, in a kind hearted and helping manner.
Gary can be reached for commissioned art work at gomulhall@gmail.com

He won a contest. Sam's light was the first place winner in the contest Summertime Art.

The Diamond committee has rewarded him with 1 seals.

Artist Notes
This is my 2nd oil painting which has recently been sold. This is an 'up close and personal' vantage point of this wolf on an arctic ice slab.
It was painted on an 18" x 24" stretched canvas. I chose this subject for the challenge it presented to me. I felt a connection with the wolf when I was studying it, and wanted to pass this feeling and sensation of the ice cold Arctic winds as felt by the wolf.
I also had a thought that this wolf was pausing and turning his head either to catch that scent he had just lost on the animal he had been pursuing, or perhaps simply waiting for the pack to catch up. I hope you enjoy this painting and hope you enjoy viewing it.
