Artist Notes
President Obama (with the first lady) was in India last month and now the French President Nicolas Sarkozi (with charming Mme Carla Bruni) is here. All for sealing some huge multi billion $ deals partnerships with India. They say it is going to be a win-win situation for everybody. Only Time can tell.
A strategic alliance or a joint venture takes place when two parties come together to take on one project. This has started growing by leaps and bounds in the ever shrinking global market place. Properly chosen and implemented, such alliances can be a great way for businesses across the worlds to forge relationships and to get in on opportunities (and profits) that otherwise you would miss out on.
In my interpretation of this subject, I am influenced by the decorative two-dimensional quality with its bright, pure colors, flatness, use of pattern, and emphasis on curved forms. It is light and cerebrally undemanding, but not superficial - nor easily painted, although it appears effortless.
For me, painting is a learning experience that finds me constantly evolving, Style is not the point. Artists always change to find something new. Generally, my work explores these complex abstract narratives that challenge one to look inside through imagery.
When you look at my abstract painting, do not begin by searching for some identifiable object from our physical world. Instead, try to enter the world the artist created. Relax and let your eye leisurely wander over the paintings surface. Let your heart and mind react to its colors and shapes, Let yourself be drawn into the illusion of its spaces, the action of its lines, the mood of its atmosphere

Seshadri is an engineer by profession. He holds a degree in electrical engineering and is also a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers in India. He lives in Mumbai, India and is an independent consultant in the marketing of industrial products.
This background might seem entirely unconnected with the world of art, but for decades Seshadri has been wielding the brushes as a hobby. Although he is an entirely self-taught artist ,he has held a few one-man shows to his credit and been part of regional group exhibitions in Bombay, Bangalore, and Delhi in the 70's and 80's. In the new Millennium he has had private shows in New York and San Francisco in the years 2006 and 2008.
Caught up in the rat race, however, he had little time to devote to my canvasses and virtually gave up painting. But the new millennium brought with it a new phase of creativity, and he has again finding himself painting and capturing the evanescent moments of life.
