Things seen on Christmas cards Contest Entry
This Christmas card was made using the kaleidoscope filter with the following pictures. A decorated Christmas tree and crocheted Angel. I created two wreaths. The angel is on the bottom with the Christmas tree as the center piece. Because the angel was the color ecru I added red where the pearls were and turned some of the white ribbon to green. I also added a green edging to the larger ribbon.
The Christmas tree picture used was a picture of a store model displaying Christmas ornaments. I knew I could create a pretty design using the kaleidoscope filter.
The snowflakes on the border were made from a winter shot of evergreen and snow. The border colors are a gradient that I swirled. I thought It matched the center of the card and would bring the colors out even more.
I also added a wreath ribbon for the final touch. There is visible snow in each corner of the picture because I placed the angel outside in the snow for the picture.
There is slight transparency in the green ribbons and red berries. Hope you enjoy and... Hope you all enjoy a very Merry Christmas with family and friends.
