This is a male eastern Blue bird. This was my dad's favorite bird. I really like their beauty too. I have two boxes on my property. They use the box for nesting through the summer and use it in winter for shelter. I saw six birds go into one box this winter. They will huddle together for warmth. I am using an Olympus E3 camera with a 70-300mm lens 500/sec f5.6
