I created a brand new butterfly fron the wings if a Monarch butterfly. At one poine I hsad beautiful sectional for the wings, but the rest of the wings was a mess. I had to take a new wing and replace all the sectionals with the new colors. That's 48 pieces for upper and lower wing. Since a butterfly has four wings I only did one uppper and one lower then put them on a black background and traced it, so I'd have one side of the wings completed, then copy them for the rest of the butterflies.

THe flowers were a lovely bouquet I found that would entice any butterfly. I trace and copied it for the centerpiece. Each butterfly has three transparent layers. I went through a lot of arrangements for the design till I finally found sonething I liked.

Lots of layering, tracing and copying went in this. I also used a transparent background of dasies on bluem which I used various filters on.
