Artist Notes
Well I actually made it to the art workshop for the first time this year and at the weekend it was a workshop on water colours. Sadly I missed the demo so had to make it up as I went along. I was staring at a blank page for a while lol but once I got going it seemed to come more naturally. I Haven't used water colours like this in donkeys years.

I am still debating on whether to do a few more of these as it is such a different style to what I normally go for. My hubby and Mum are forever trying to get me to do watercolour and pastel landscapes. Needless to say they really liked this and so now I'm in a dilemma with whether to paint more of them. Waiting to see what the response is on here and will then make up my mind :)

I was bought up in Africa for the first 11 years of my life and have traveled extensively throughout. My travel experiences have influenced my artwork immensely, I am always picking up tips along the way of how to incorporate it into my art.

I have always painted from day dot, but it's only the last few years that I have tried to make a career out of it. I have been naturally lead into the world of illustrating children's books and thoroughly enjoying it. I have worked on a few books now and have come to realize that this is my calling. Being a big kid at heart does have its advantages. My aim with most of my work is to put a smile on peoples faces, and give my pieces, whether it is an illustration or a large painting, a happy vibe.

My artwork is colourful, decorative and whimsical. I have a great love for colours, patterns and shapes and enjoy exploring different ways in using this into my work. I enjoy experimenting with different mediums and styles to see where it ...
