This is a male Eastern Towhee! These birds get their name from the song. You can hear them in the woods "tow-hee". They are primarily ground feeders but occasionally come to the feeder! When feeding on the ground they scratch like a chicken!
I am using an Olympus E3 camera with a 70-300mm lens 125/sec f8 iso 3oo
