During a trip to Japan, March 2010, to see my son and daughter-in-law and new grandson we visited Hiroshima and were totally moved by the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, commonly called the Atomic Bomb Dome. The building serves as a memorial to the people who were killed in the atomic bombing of Hiroshima on August 6, 1945. Over 70,000 people were killed instantly, and another 70,000 suffered fatal injuries from the radiation. Next month it will be 66 years since the A-Bomb was dropped and we are still fighting wars.
