Artist Notes
Saturday and early morning hoping they will open the glasshouse earlier than advertised time - luckily they have, the flower has reopened to be a blushing deep inner to pale pink outer. The change from bud, to pure white, to blushing pink is complete. I was so pleased to finally capture this shot knowing that in another couple of hours the bloom will be fully opened and sink slowly back into the water from whence it came.

Hi, My name is Mary and have enjoyed being a member of FAR since 2011 when I retired. I have learnt so much from the family of photographers on this site and hopefully will continue to improve my knowledge during the coming year (2013). I have returned to temporary work recently (3 weeks has now become 5 months) which has reduced the amount of time I can get out with the camera but will try very hard to ensure work doesn't impact too much.
She is a ranked traditional photographer and is currently at the #86 spot on this years rankings.
She is also an active reviewer and is holding the #89 spot on the top ranked reviewer list.
