We were walking alone in Vathia. No guide. Still we always read a lot about the place we want to see. Vathia is today a deserted place. This photo shows the entrance to the last person ever living in this beautiful city. She was 80 years old, but refused to leave. It was her home, and always been. Many children she had, and of course grandchildren. She had been a widow for many years, but none of her children managed to convince her to leave her home in Vathia. I did nothing to this photo. Not often I do, but I wanted you lot to see it the way I saw it. I have a closer one as well. Camera hand held.
