Cawfields Quarry Cawfields is one of various spots along Hadrian's Wall where the Whin Sill has been quarried. We visited here in 2006 and had dinner at a nice hotel nearby, as we were driving back to our B&B we spotted the track going to the quarry so investigated. Liked the reflections from the early evening light.
