Artist Notes
I was stalking this one for a long time under water and when I came close enough I just popped up and shot... The water was quite agitated and so was I and my camera, but I got several quite good shots. Pelican don't seem to suspect any danger coming from beneath the water, so he just stared at me in astonishment until I really did come too close for his comfort.
I hope you enjoy as much as I did taking this photo.
