Im getting quite into this contest malarky, they are making me try subjects I would never have tried depicting before.

I am very anti War and Im afraid I am one of these people that blinkers myself to what goes on in the world, mainly because I find it too distressing. When I do see images of war its the images with children and families that really break my heart. Such innocent souls, what have they ever done to get caught up in such evil.

I hope this image doesn't upset anyone, it wasn't my intention. Its just for a theme like this I wanted something powerful to depict how evil the whole thing is. Whenever I see scenes like this I always have one question... Why?


I haven't tried working on black paper before, I thought it would give it that bleak feel and make the image more dramatic.
