Castle College in Sheffield was my return to maths as a mature student, in which I spent a lot of time perusing the plants around me and the space. New in the city of Sheffield, unmarried for the first time in twenty five years, I think I preferred to think of space - I noticed cactii grow well in colleges (not needing watering I presume, like myself) This day the Mayor and Mayoress literally ran into the class and ran out again- why do they visit if they don't let you ask them questions? so I concentrated on the plant on my patch..
