Artist Notes
High speed photo of a water drop framed by water from two colliding droplets. A CD under the water's surface helps enhance the colours and gives the semblance of a target's bulls-eye.

jirel
jirel is a retired pilot who spent many years flying aircraft throughout central and northern Canada, including the high Arctic regions. As a pilot he got to see some fantastic scenery and landscapes that few others have an opportunity to behold. He always enjoyed photography but it wasn't until after he retired that he got the opportunity to acquire some good equipment and devote the time to it.
As a hobbyist photographer, his goal is to pass on some of the natural beauty he sees around him and in the macro world of small things. He tries to create images that allow the mind to relax or be stirred to be imaginative.
